Howdy! I'm building a mandolin, I have built a mando with F holes before,
but this is my first time building one with a A soundhole. My question is
about the X bracing pattern that is used on Mandolins with A soundholes.
I know that on the mandos with F holes you use two parallel tone bars,
one treble and one bass, and that they are carved different thickneses. My
question is: Does the X bracing have a diffrential bass and treble side? Are
the two bars carved differently? Any information on the X bracing pattern
would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
My very best regards!

-Nate, the happy man!
